Help Mekael & his family in Gaza

Hello, I am Sophia and I am helping to raise money for my friend Mekael and his family so they can afford to survive the conditions in Gaza. The money raised will be used to get them the basic necessities needed like food, as cost for everything now is extremely high.
Mekael is a photojournalist and he is very kind and humble. He is not currently receiving money for the work he is doing through his photojournalism, which he would normally use to help provide for his family. From the beginning of the genocide, he has done so much to help others in Gaza. Mekael and his team have helped with several different organizations (Project Hope Palestine, Iman Care, and Care for Gaza) to help the people in Gaza to get food and water.
However, the situation has gotten exponentially worse, and Mekael needs help to provide for his own family as well. His family’s home has been destoryed and they are now displaced. His children have not been in school and it has been very difficult to get any food, especially with the rising cost of basic necessities.

“I work as a photojournalist and have a large family. Our home in the Shujaiya neighborhood was completely destroyed. My brothers, my mothers, and our entire family lived there. Now we are displaced and lack the most basic necessities of life, just like everyone else in Gaza. My daughters have been out of school for two years, and I want to help securing their educational future. We are in a real famine here, and I haven’t received my salary for months due to the closure of banks and the war on Gaza.The rising prices, difficulty securing food, displacement, and overall conditions we are in have made it very difficult here in Gaza. ”
